Armoured Police Van Sketch
A quick armoured van sketch. Intent was to be part of a larger scene but I screwed up the rest. Just a quick doodle to practice some perspective (still failed on the wheels), but I think the riot control guy looks kinda neat.

Viking Character Sketches
Somewhere between character design and doodles, I drew up these vikings. I was just practicing different body shapes/sizes mostly, as well as trying to improve form and overall anatomy (failed in a few spots). But I enjoyed drawing each one of these guys. The megafat one cracks me up, he just sits there and plays paddleball. I even came up with a story for each one in my head, they are all sons of the viking with the sword, the 'king'. Which one is your favorite?

Columbian Hotdog Stand
This is a drawing I did of a hotdog stand from the game, Bioshock Infinite. The game takes place during 1912 in a floating city. I absolutely love the environment design, so I went ahead and drew a Columbian hotdog stand. I tried using those watercolor pencils again, but this time I really hated how they turned out. They were honestly a real pain to use. I don't like the colors of this at all, except the top portion looks alright. The red of the cart is way too saturated. Another thing I learned in retrospect is that watercolors don't play nice with thin paper. The paper became really wavy and wrinkled. Oh well. Think I'll go have some popcorn and root beer.
Monorail Sketch
Just a quick sketch I did of a monorail passing over a cornfield. I plan on turning this into both a 3d scene in Maya as well as a pixelart scene in my game project, Stasis. I was just doodling and sketched this up, then went in and did some simple coloring with watercolor pencils.

3D Head Model Of Myself
Hey look, I made me! This is my first head model in Maya. I used Maya 2013 for the head modeling, and then I used Maya 2012 with a plugin called Shave to create the hair. For a first head model, I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. There are some nits and picks I don't like, such as some of the hair clumps and some of the face geometry. Also, I look like an airbrushed Sims™3 character. I have since had a haircut.
3D Jukebox Scene
This is a 3D scene I created in Maya 2013 for my Intro to 3D class. We had to take a photograph and recreate it in 3D. This was my first serious project in Maya, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Some elements are more well done than others, but it was a big challenge. I'm happy to finally call it done, and I learned a ton from the project. It took me about a month to make.
PS: I'm uploading late because my harddrive resuscitated itself and I managed to reclaim my renders.

N64 Charcoal Style
This is a charcoal drawing I did of an N64 controller for my Drawing II class. We took an object and then represented it multiple different ways in a single abstract collage. This was my first real time using charcoal so I was very new to the materials. I think this could have been much better with more work, but for a first time, I'm happy with how it turned out.
