Game Asset | Birch Tree WIP
I'm finally starting to create some assets for a hush game project I'm developing. The game takes place primarily in forest locations, so I've started messing with tree modeling and texturing. I was looking at how some other games did their trees, and it seemed like that they had super simple geometry with complex normal maps and texture maps to break up the surface and add detail. I whipped up a super fast texture and got this result. Doesn't look half bad for what it is. No maps except a diffuse. This is rendered with V-ray and not Unreal, however. I did this so fast I only did the trunk portion of the tree. Still have to figure out the leaves and such. Should be fun.
