Warrior Doodle

A very quick n' dirty doodle I did today. I was a bit out of it when I was drawing, but I was trying to be looser with my lines than I have been in the past. I feel like this doodle looks better on the paper for some reason.

Super Mutant Behemoth | Fallout

Vault dwellers, beware! A super mutant behemoth from one of my all time favorite game series, Fallout. This took me forever, and I don't know why. I'm happy to not have to stare at the reference any longer, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I kinda messed up the head a little, as well as a few details here and there. This doesn't warrant a two week blogging hiatus, though. I should be able to start posting stuff more regularly again. I plan on devoting more time to my pixel art game project and a 3d Maya scene so I might be doing a little less 2D drawing.

Afro Samurai Gesture Sketches

Some gesture drawings I did of characters Afro and Kuma from the anime, Afro Samurai. I spent 5 minutes on each sketch, limiting myself to try to capture the essence of the poses while drawing dynamic lines. My goal is to get much faster at character build up/dynamic poses. I did these gestures from reference poses.
