Motion Design | Picky Eaters

Here's a short bit of animation and character design I did for a project in my Motion Design class. We had to create an ad for a healthy cruise experience and my group decided to target families with picky eaters, who may not be accustomed to eating in a healthier lifestyle. This just the section I did, the entire ad was about twice as long. Had a lot of fun designing, rigging, and animating this little guy in After Effects! Hope you enjoy our light take on a healthy message!

Trenchcoat Soldier Woman

Drew this from reference tonight, made the head way to big for some reason, but it was fun to draw..pencils are the best. Human and cloth practice. She looks a little emaciated, honestly, bad habit I have I think. Will work on it.

Photobash | Watcher

His heavy breathing barely distracted as plumes of smoke exhaled from his deflating/inflating breathing pattern. All those eyes looked everywhere, at him, the watcher was watching.

So this is something I did spontaneously over the course of last night and today. I whipped up the sketch below and then brought it into to photoshop and dropped some textures over it and painted it up a little, really like the colors and how much they popped, dug the concept too, as weird as it is. I gotta try more of this photobashing stuff.

Sol | Super Conduit

Be sure to watch in HD!
Here's a prop I modeled for our game project, Sol. It's a super conduit, meaning it digitally transports matter through it's big circle portal, then beams it in the sky through a lightbeam, allowing it to be transported to similiar devices anywhere on the planet, or even in orbit.  I still have to make a high resolution version of this, but it definitely serves it's purpose in our game world right now. Can't wait to start adding materials to bring this sucker to life in Unreal!

Motion Design | History Of The Gasmask

Be sure to watch in at least 720p!
I finally finished my infographic project for my Motion Design class! I decided on the invention of the gasmask as my subject content, since so many of my classmates poke fun at my slight obsession with them. Our project was only supposed to be 30 seconds long, but my script ended at around 1:15, almost three times longer than we needed. It took me a good chunk of time to get all the shots done, and some shots are better than others but this sucker is done! I had a lot of fun animating on the 2d rigs my classmate set me up with. I made all the characters then he hooked them up, then I animated them. It was quite the little production for a normal class project. It's done now, and I'm fairly happy with most of it, even if there's some weird stuff, like my voiceover. Hope you enjoy learning about gasmasks!

Yelawolf Sketch

Here's a sketch I did the other day of a rapper named Yelawolf. He has an interesting look and tons of complicated tattoos (which I only started on). Hadn't drawn a face in awhile, so I tried his.

Pinup | Ginger Picnic

I doodled a large-hipped woman in class the other day, so I took the idea of the sketch and tried to paint it out. This is my first attempt at a pinup girl of any sort. I'm terrible at painting and anatomy, but this was fun to do. Shout out to the thick girls and summertime!
